The vineyard of sancerre represents 2600 hectares of vines derived from the Sauvignon grape for the white wine, and Pinot Noir for the red and rose wines.

The Dauny familly is a old vintner familly based in Sancerre having cultivated vines in the area Champtin since 1683

Nicole and Christian Dauny represent the twelveth generation and the thirteenth generation is assured by their

sons Benoît and Thibaut

In 1964 the vineyard moved over to organic farming, becoming the first in the area to do so, with an aim to remove all kinds of pollution, providing a better quality of wine.

All of our wines are produced without chemicals, pestercides, insectercides or other such like chemicals used by mass wine producers; We are a 100% organic vineyard in all aspects.

Today we represents one of the leading companies in meeting the changes in the European production of vegtables, whilst maintaining the traditions of the vine and wine.
